Yoo Young Jin (유영진) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, and producer under SM Entertainment.

He's known for producing SM Entertainment's earliest hits and establishing the SMP (SM Music Performance) sound.

He has produced and written songs for H.O.T., S.E.S, BoA, Shinhwa, TVXQ, CSJH The Grace, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT and Aespa.

He made his debut as a solo recording artist in September 1993 with the single/mini album Blues In Rhythm Single 1.

He reportedly left SM Entertainment in March, 2023.

History[]

Yoo Young Jin made his debut as a solo recording artist in September 1993 with the single album Blues In Rhythm Single 1. It was followed by the release of his first album Blues in Rhythm in November 1993. He would later release two other albums: Blue Rhythm (1996) and Agape (2001).

While he has only released three solo albums as a recording artist, his career as a producer is very prolific.

As a recording artist, he often features on SMTOWN family albums and do occasional collaborations with other SM Entertainment singers.

He sang "Beautiful Girls", song serving as background music to a Girl's Generation - The 1st ASIA TOUR CONCERT: Into the new world VCR.
